Hi, there. My name is ellee ven and I'm a self-proclaimed Groovalutionary. If you're anything like me, you want to be able to drop 20 in 5. That is not the way of the world. The world's greatest miracles have taken a minute.
Many people say that patience is a virtue. Well, I was a non-believer for many, many moons until recently. In fact, fun fact, I was born on the day of impulse. Don't look that up, but it's October 27th. It's an old story that social media provokes knee-jerk reactions and impulsive responding which, safe to say, not super mindful communication. At first, when I was a little younger, I didn't really realize how important it is to sit back and actually take in some of the information because when you're in there and you're scrapping, it's hard to see what's really happening. The minute that you step back and give yourself a little bit of time and a little bit of patience to figure it out, things do become more clear.
Think about relationships, you meet a hot, swarthy guy and he says everything you want to hear. He's tall and it's blinding, and perhaps you've had a glass of vino. Up close, you're thinking dreamboat, but then you step back and you're like stinky toe or something like this. Anything can happen. With patience, with a little distance, with a little mindfulness, suddenly clarity is available to us. In my golden years, I have learned that anything with value takes time and patience if we want to reap the reward. That's in business, that's in relationship, that's in gardening. Nature shows us over and over again how real that is.
Think about the tree. That's a thousand years old versus the tree that you've just planted yesterday. It's a beautiful tree, but it's not going to be the thousand year tree until it's got a thousand years under its belt or until it's got a thousand rings. In conclusion, I want you to think about under what circumstances is your knee-jerk reaction even helpful? I will leave today with these wise words, which are patience little squaw, patience. It is a virtue. My name is ellee ven. I'm a self-proclaimed Groovalutionary. Share with me some ways that you can improve in the patience department.

YOU’VE GOT THE RIGHT IDEA!
Try to change my constant overthinking into something creative. Pour art Take me away, hiking Take me away, meditation take me away even the breeze of an open window while driving down the road and really focusing and being thankful in that moment.
