Do you know what my nickname was as a tot? I was called the doodler. My sweet sister, would always say, "Doodle on, doodler. Doodle on." And Doodle on, I have. We have over 60,000 thoughts a day that go through our little nuggets, and so it's impossible to process them all. I have a solution for keeping tabs on the gems that you think you can't get to right away.

Welcome back, doodlers. Here at the Groovalution HQ, we have what we call the back-burner list. Some people call it the shit for later list. The point is, is that you have a dedicated list in a designated spot that is easy to get to so that you can refer to your fabulosity. The thing that I love about our back-burner list is something that we go back to probably every two weeks just to check in, just to make sure that we're not missing out on some of these little gems that we think of. But we think, "Oh, maybe we shouldn't be spending weeks on this, or maybe we shouldn't be spending X amount of dollars on this." But when we look at the list again, and we're reminded of that inspiration, a lot of the times we can incorporate that idea and it ends up being actually much more seamless.

Our back-burner list not only has ideas that can fit into projects that are current, but again, it can spark new inspiration. There's no limit to the number of lists, frankly, that you can have either. As a list lover, I actually have a word list and I actually have a bucket list of the places that I want to visit. Having lists is just a real fun way of tapping into your dreams and aspirations. Right.

Weird. How do people even live without lists? Your genius really is in the scribble. Think it, get it out and move on to trusting that your inspirations are tucked away in a safe place. Where do you put your inspirations? Where do you put your travel dreams? Let me know about it in the comments below. My name is ellee ven. I'm a self proclaimed groovalutionary. Spark a Groovalution with me. Doodle on, doodler. Doodle on, doodler.
